Prominent Ugandan singer and songwriter Allan Ampaire, popularly known as Allan Toniks, has announced the dates and venue for the first concert of his career.
The multi-talented vocalist, known for timeless singles like “Sikuleka,” “Swag Meter,” “Romance,” “Tukyeekole,” and “AWO,” will host the “My Journey Concert” on October 5, 2024, at the Sheraton Gardens.
Allan Toniks’ musical journey began early, with his mother, Josephine Berinda, introducing him to guitar lessons during his P7 vacation. His talent was further nurtured at King’s College Budo, setting the stage for his future success.

His career spans over a decade, marked by collaborations with superstars like Omulangila Ssuna, Sheebah, Lily Ahabwe, and Fille. Allan Toniks first rose to fame in 2008 while in his first year at university with the self-produced hit “Beera Nange,” featuring Lily Ahabwe. This track is celebrated as one of the greatest love ballads in the Ugandan music scene.
In June 2022, Allan Toniks released a commercially successful 14-track LP titled “AWO,” featuring guest artists Ykee Benda, Sheebah, A Pass, Lydia Jazmine, and Feffe Bussi. The concert will highlight his remarkable journey and celebrate his contributions to Ugandan music.
