Today, the first ever virtual edition of the most anticipated teens award show; the ‘Buzz Teenz Awards’ happened. The BTAs of 2020 were Live broadcasted on the MTN Uganda Facebook Page and Magic 1HD and were hosted by Baby Gloria and NBS TV’s Mc Ollo. Top talent was recognized with lots of entertainment for teenagers at this 14th Edition of the event including performances from Karole Kasita, and Azawi. The awards were handed out by various personalities such as Patricia of the Ghetto Kids, Bobi Wine’s son Mr. Kampala, Felister The Superstar, Reach a Hand Uganda’s Humphrey Nambimanya among others.
The most awarded was act; Crysto Panda who bagged 4 BTAs (Teenz Artist of the Year, Teenz Male Artist of the Year, Teenz Breakout Artist of the Year, and for Teenz Hottest Collabo of the Year).
At the virtual awards show still Galaxy FM for the seventh time in a row bagged the award for Teenz Hottest Radio Station). The teens favored Barbie Kyagulanyi to Martha Kay, Sesa Bat, and Douglas Lwanga for Teenz Social Media Personality award. The young Cabella 1 won for Teenz Underground Rapper; a fan voted category.
