Justin Bieber Announces New Album ‘Justice’. Set for March 19th release

Date:

Justin Bieber is officially in album mode. The pop star has announced his sixth studio LP, and is to go by the title ‘Justice.’

The Pop star formally unveiled the news moments ago along with the artwork for the project; hinting that it is to be released on March 19th.

Based on this project’s singles, it sounds as though he’s driving in a Pop(ier) direction this go-round.

Talking about what inspired the album, the ‘What Do You Mean’ singer took to Twitter and had this to say: “In a time when there’s so much wrong with this broken planet, we all crave healing—and justice—for humanity,” said Bieber. “In creating this album, my goal is to make music that will provide comfort; to make songs that people can relate to, and connect to, so they feel less alone. Suffering, injustice and pain can leave people feeling helpless.”

He hopes to bring healing through his music. “Music is a great way of reminding each other that we aren’t alone. Music can be a way to relate to one another and connect with one another,” he added. “I know that I cannot simply solve injustice by making music, but I do know that if we all do our part by using our gifts to serve this planet, and each other, that we are that much closer to being united. This is me doing a small part. My part. I want to continue the conversation of what justice looks like so we can continue to heal.”

Justice, arrive 15 months after Bieber’s fifth effort ‘Changes’ of 2020 and follows Changes which spawned a trio of singles including “Holy” with Chance the Rapper, “Lonely” featuring Benny Blanco, and “Anyone,” which all currently reside in the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Ahead of the album’s release, Bieber will take the stage at Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, airing live on March 13.
