Lilian Mbabazi’s ‘THE ONE” EP Is A Bask Of Goodness & Pure Bops

Exceptionally talented vocalist Lilian Mbabazi has today unwrapped her fluidly excellent Extended Play “The ONE”.

The arrival of the body of work follows the multi-talented singer, songwriter, and performer releasing its lead and titular track in August this year, which funneled many listeners keeping them on all ten toes muchly anticipating the project.

As a well-composed tape brought to life by the mesmerizing vocals of Lilian Mbabazi, “THE ONE” has 7 songs that extend into multiple themes suggestive of its title. It’s the perfect bite-sized offering, boasting songs like ‘The One’; an equally sweet-toned composition, sure earworms ‘Diamond’, ‘Never Letting Go’, ‘Jangu’, ‘Mirrors’, ‘Ogusela’, and ‘Dem Days’.

The “Dagala” singer consistently and intentionally synced with sound engineers Michael Fingaz Mugisha, Nessim, Danny Beats, Emma Muzaale (MeshPan), Abassa, Issac Kalema, Danny Beats, Samurae and Isaiah and songwriters Yese Oman Rafiki, Shena Josephine Namagembe (Shena Skies), Saxess, Isabel Twongyeirwe, and Lilian Mbabazi herself.

 ‘Dem Days’ which is a favorite standout slots in choruses of the majority of the greatest hits of the 2000’s to early 2010’s; as sang by Lilian who tunefully inflects and mashes up Juliana Kanyomozi’s ‘Kibaluma’, Swing by Kleptomaniax, Ndi Ku Digi by Ngoni, Fire Anthem by Bebe Cool, Wyre, Dr. Jose Chameleone’s Superstar, her girl group Blu*3’s Hitaji, Eno Mic by Ziggy Dee, and more.

With “THE ONE”, Lilian Mbabazi aimed at serenading listeners with her body of work and leave them in awe and she has done just that. The EP is out now worldwide and is a busk of pure goodness, charisma, melodic sonics, and relatable lyrics.
