Celebrated Ugandan dance group Masaka Kids Africana have hit a new milestone in their career, becoming the first Ugandans to hit two million subscribers on YouTube.
The youngsters hit the milestone thanks to their unique dance moves that have attracted massive attention from international audiences and earned millions of views on YouTube.
The kids shared the good news on their social media platforms, also thanking their fans for their love and support.
“Wow! Within three years we are at 2 million subscribers on YouTube! To God be the Glory. We wanna thank every single one of you for all your love and support. “Thank you for loving us, we can’t thank you enough for making us cross 2 million subscribers. We never thought of crossing this mark too soon,” the group posted.
The two million mark comes a year after they were awarded a Gold Creator Award after hitting one million subscribers on YouTube.
The Masaka Kids Africana came up just a few years ago with inspiration from the Triplets Ghetto Kids. Their dances and lifestyle seem to have caught the attention of the international audience.
Their dance videos have pulled millions of views on YouTube. In February, they danced to Eddy Kenzo’s ‘Tweyagale’ and the video on YouTube has more than 100 million views.
