From established titans joining forces to cross-generational and cross regional link-ups, these joint efforts are a true portrayal of the vibrancy and collaborative spirit of Ugandan music, when more than one artist team up to create a musical madness.

Omega 256 Ft. Cindy – See You Tonight

Cleverly sampling Kat Deluna’s 2007 classic “Am I Dreaming”, Omega 256 and Cindy’s dreamy collab “See You Tonight” achieved instant hit status right from the onset of its teaser. This much anticipation for its release saw it debut atop the Apple Music Top 100 chart of Uganda. The perfectly executed superstar collaboration taps into Omega 256’s prowess and Cindy’s King energy.

The result? 242,000 Spotify streams, 3,517,784 views on its official music video on YouTube as well being the #1 most trending music video on the platform to-date, not forgetting its debut number #1 position on Apple Music’s Top 100 chart of Uganda as well as maintain its appearance in the top 10 since release.

Dax Vibez Ft. Elijah Kitaka Good Idea

This track has been an undeniable force since its release, dominating TikTok plus short video sharing social media platforms, and spending weeks at in the Top 20 on the Apple Music Top 100 chart of Uganda chart. If you have been following him closely, “Good Idea” marked the 3rd time Dax Vibez collaborated with a Swangz Avenue artist; following “Believe” feat. Vinka (2023) and “Ku Sure” feat. Azawi (2024). As one of the best songs of 2025 so far, “Good Idea” continues to soar high not just on music and airplay charts but in minds of hearts as well. In terms of performance, the track at the moment has over 363,000 streams on Spotify, and 2,280,000+ views on YouTube.

Gloria Bugie Ft. Vyroota Ready

On their own Vyroota and Gloria Bugie have each had unstoppable momentum since their individual debut as artists. With each new single or collaboration, they’ve each released anthems and set the tempo in Ugandan music with their sound.

Now when these two singers connected on a song, expectations are high, and “Ready” delivered. Debuting strongly and quickly hitting on streaming platforms and garnering massive streams, the track has maintained a consistent presence in the upper echelons of both major streaming charts. Combining a steady 2,500,000+ views on YouTube for its official music video and 25K on the track’s audio and over 200,000 listens on Spotify.

Aroma Feat. An-known Prosper Mpeke

It is without doubt that social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram have helped accelerate the growth and increase stream count and enhanced music discovery. The music industry has seen a growth of over 500% between 2017 and 2022. TikTok in particular has been central to the spread of many songs, turning them into viral challenges and giving artists unprecedented visibility. One case scenario is of the song “Mpeke” whose virality was birthed by TikTok further solidifying the app’s staying power and influence on music. To-date the sound of “Mpeke” has over 223,000 user generated videos uploaded by TikTok users to the platform with them using the song as the background sound.  The track’s success is also attributed to the heartwarming lyrics and the chemistry between Aroma and An-known Prosper on the song. In terms of its impressive count, “Mpeke” has garnered over 380,000 streams on Spotify and a combined 3,600,000+ views on YouTube (as uploaded to both singers’ channels).

Karole Kasita Ft. Elijah Kitaka – Go (Remix)

Building on the success of the original viral tune, this remix featuring the UNUSUAL Elijah Kitaka himself became an instant hit. The song when coupled with Karole’s sick verses and Daddy Andre’s production prowess, gave way to an instant chart cracker of a jam that is the “GO” (Remix). cracked the charts and has now surpassed 150,000 streams on Spotify for the remix and 169,000+ on its original version. Now with the remix version’s music video out, the momentum of the track has gone even higher. The video at the moment has over 257,000+ views. The song’s continued success in the mainstream airplay also highlights the impact a strategic Elijah Kitaka feature can have.

These collaborations represent just a snapshot of the incredible music emerging from Uganda this year. They highlight the power that synergy and blending of different styles of music and fanbases hold to create moments that capture the nation’s attention and dominate the streaming landscape.
