Telecom industry lead MTN Uganda yesterday launched MTN Prestige a new premium loyalty program, tailored to its high-value customers. The unwrapping of the rewards program is as a part of MTN’s commitment to elevating customer experiences.
Unlike MTN Senkyu, the revamped loyalty program has a variety of experiential offerings and an array of premium benefits that go beyond the telecom sector, extending into lifestyle, wellbeing, and travel.

MTN Prestige members will enjoy preferential treatment at all MTN touchpoints, along with access to exclusive offers, VIP invitations to MTN Sponsored events, discounts on devices, and priority customer support. The program also provides members with unique products for data, voice, and roaming services, as well as the ability to earn and redeem loyalty points for telecom and non-telecom services.

For this, we’re grateful & delighted to have you as we launch our new premium Loyalty Program”, remarked Mackinon Kabarole, Acting Chief Marketing Officer of MTN Uganda while speaking yesterday at the official launch at the Golden Tulip and Canaan Hotel.
“MTN Prestige is designed to reward our most valued customers by offering them exclusive privileges and experiences that cater to their individual needs. We are committed to continuously enhancing our loyalty programs, and MTN Prestige is a testament to our drive to create personalized experiences for our customers.”, he added.
Adding to his voice, Racheal Nagimesi, an administrator with MTN Uganda spoke to the benefits that come with being a member of MTN Prestige and the entire process of signing up for the program.
Members of MTN Prestige will unlock benefits such as access to lifestyle perks, including discounts on travel, beauty, and fashion, as well as VIP invitations to selected MTN-sponsored events. Customers will also have the option to redeem their loyalty points for mobile money through MTN MoMoPay, making it easier to pay for goods and services.
To join MTN Prestige, customers are required to meet a minimum monthly spend of UGX 100,000 across MTN services for over 6 months, including mobile money and airtime purchases. Eligible customers will be notified through the MyMTN App, SMS, or a call from the MTN call center to opt into the program. Alternatively, customers can dial *180# to explore exclusive bundle propositions.
The launch of MTN Prestige program underscores MTN’s commitment to creating shared value and fostering a more inclusive and sustainable future by offering enhanced digital and financial services to its customers.

Customers who are part of MTN’s loyalty program Senkyu can also transition to MTN Prestige. MTN Uganda encourages its customers to explore the full range of MTN Prestige benefits by subscribing via the MyMTN App or dialing *180#. The launch was wrapped up with giving away of goodies by some of MTN’s partners like Soothing Spa, Johnie Walker, TECNO, among others. In terms of entertainment and keeping the mood for the evening right, Brian Mulondo was the MC, and Selector Jay as the deejay of the night as well as an acoustic music performance by Steve Keys and the band.
