TECNO Mobile has taken the wraps off the latest versions of its best-selling devices, including the TECNO Camon 40, 40 Pro, and 40 Premier.

The Sony LYT-701 sensor is capable of capturing very fast subjects with the company’s new Flash Snap technology. Paired with the phone’s AI capabilities, this improves camera startup and capture times so users can capture life’s most vibrant and fleeting moments on the spot without worrying about blurry subjects.
Still on photography, the phone takes advantage of TECNO’s improved Universal Tone technology, which enhances skin tone reproduction in images. The phone is also capable of underwater photography, thanks to the IP68 and IP69 water resistance, which was the biggest catch at the TECNO CAMON 40 series with many of attendees trying out for themselves by immersing the phone in water, while at the launch.

The series runs on Android 15 with TECNO’s HiOS 15, and comes in colors Emerald Lake Green, Galaxy Black, Glacier White, Emerald Glow Green. Talking of sound, the smartphone series packs stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
In terms of Pricing and availability, the TECNO Camon 40 series is selling at UGX 859,000 (for the CAMON 40 with 8GB RAM 128GB) and the CAMON 40 PRO is selling at UGX 989,000 (with 12GB RAM 256GB ROM) in TECNO Mobile Uganda outlets, MTN Service Centers and any Banana Phone World shop.
