Congolese singer-songwriter Ya Levis is set to return to Uganda this Valentine’s Day, and it is to headline the Ganda Vibes Love Sesh on February 14 at Mestil Hotel in Kampala.

As you may be acquainted, this won’t be the France-based artist, born Prince Nemiala Levyson Dalwear’s first time performing in the Ugandan capital, but rather a second time; following a successful debut appearance in August 2024 year that attracted a sold-out audience.

Soft launching his return, the Francophone “Katchua” crooner took to his Instagram stories and posted “Kampala. I’ll Be Back”.
Best known for emotionally resonant and fan favorite records like “Aicha,” “Chocolat,” , “Mbangu te”, “Ne doute pas”, and “Nakati”, Ya Levis’s catalogue blends Ndombolo, French Urban Pop/R&B, African Rhumba with contemporary pop and has found strong reception across Central, West, and East Africa, particularly among audiences drawn to romance-forward storytelling and melodic performance, hence Ya Levis being referred to as the “Ambassador of Love”.
Ya Levis’ first Kampala appearance also marked his most notable Ugandan performance to date after a previously cancelled 2022 “The Terminal Kampala” booking. The sold-out event featured a lineup of Ugandan artists and DJs, like Elijah Kitaka, Tungi, Kohen Jaycee and Kamanzi.
The Valentine’s Day Ganda Vibes Love Seshis being organized by Ganda Vibes, working alongside Mestil Hotel & Residences, FENON, NRG Radio, Clem Autos & Quicket.Additional supporting acts and DJs are expected to be announced in the lead-up to the show.
