Whereas everyone’s highlight from the ‘The Awakening’ themed edition of the 2022 edition of the annual Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards was the pomp, glamour, star-studded guest list, and style, this editor’s standout was Shawn Maine’s heartstring-pulling set.

Having musicians perform at the ASFAs has been a fad since time memorial and some of the international acts to grace the stage have included Jidenna and Banky W.

As a way of continuing the notoriety of the undoubted intersection between music and fashion, baritone vocal talent Shawn Maine was enlisted for this year’s role at the event.

Entering performance mode, he while clad in a stunning Grey & White Color Kapoor Tex Men’s Designer Blazer serenaded the revelers to Rihanna’s recent comeback single “Lift Me Up”, as a tribute to the souls and lives we lost due to the COVI-19 pandemic; and the showcase left some attendees reaching out for whips with their eyes getting teary.

Maine is currently promoting his new A Pass assisted track“My Way” as he also prepares to drop his second project later this year.
