Everything We Know about Shawn Maine’s Upcoming Single “6:30”

Shawn Maine at the close of last week made a profound exciting music announcement. In days leading up to the reveal, the Baritone talented singer-songwriter made it known that he will be dropping a new single this Thursday. In an 11 second clip shared to his socials, Shawn formally previewed the track.

He two days later, went to unwrap its artwork, struck with a maroon feel, plus the song tile and his artist name.

The new heartfelt single was written by Shawn Maine himself. On the production credits is Joshua Baraka (who he formerly worked with as a producer for his sophomore EP “When the Sun Sets” and guest vocalist on “Tina”. 6:30 is going to be mixed and mastered by the very much talented Axon.

Still on the roll out, the “Run” singer’s Instagram story and X (formerly Twitter) post indicated that the track is set to have an intro and this will be voiced by Latavia Ntale.

Just like he shared last year in our interview, his body of work “When the Sun Sets” was the mark of the end of his vulnerable sad boy music era, and if we are to go by that, 6:30 promises to be a happier, groovy and upbeat record. Chances are this could additionally be the track that lays foundation of a potential new EP, maybe?

When released, “6:30” will join “It’s Crazy”, among the other melodically appealing track to his name. Until then, let’s count down a few days till we feast on new some new dynamic sweet sounds by Shawn.
