June ending of this year, MTN Uganda launched the Pulse Tiktok Challenge, and this was in attempt to reward young people on grounds of how creative they could get. Prizes ranged from mobile data bundles (3GB) to cash prizes of Ugx. 200,000 each.
In various online episodes, that happened each month from day of launch saw people win things. Alongside these shows was always an act and deejay duel to perform. From Spice Diana to Fefe Bussi, DJCiza, the H2C Dancers and more.
Well, the Pulse Tiktok Challenge is back for one more round; – the grand finale; which has been dubbed the ‘’MTN Pulse Disruption’ party. What makes this one special is besides the performances, is the prizes and the fun packed up in one.
MTN understands the young cool peeps and their mad love for music. it has thereby lined up performers to headline the show as follows:
Azawi: Boy oh boy, Swangz Avenue’s fast rising star has surely won the hearts of many; since debut. With trending and chart-topping singles ‘Quinamino’, ‘Repeat It’. Saw her stellar performance on last week’s Momo Nyabo? in case you missed out on it, she’ll be bringing the same vibe on this one too.
The B2C trio: who have what I’d say the most requested for song at the moment ‘Munda Awo’. The award-winning boy band also has other hit singles like ‘Wujja’, ‘Songea’, ‘Tango’, ‘Gutujja’ among others. These are a must- look out for.
The genius behind the song Mun G is expected to grace the show as a performer too.
DJ KasBaby is set to be the official deejay of the night.
And what is a party/ event without Miss Deedan Diana Muyira?? Yes, she has been the host for the past Pulse Tiktok Challenge rewarding episodes, and she’ll grace the show which runs its final lap tomorrow.
How and where will the show be happening?
The MTN Pulse Disruption Party (Pulse Tiktok Challenge Finale) is to broadcast Live on the MTN Uganda Facebook page, starting 7Pm.

Sadly, as of now submissions are closed, as deadline was yesterday 18th August, 2020. The steps were:
- Participation in the Pulse Tiktok Challenge is so simple. All one has to do is:
- Record a Tiktok duet with Mun G’s ‘Bintwala’ song in the background
- Share it online and tag @MTNUg plus the ‘#PulseTiktokChallenge’ on Tiktok.

Prize(s): Ugx. 1,000,000 for the overall winner plus a few giveaways by MTN.
