Baddest’s season continues…

Just after 9 months after initial release, Azawi has polished her maiden studio “African Music” album with a deluxe version.

Upping its total track to now 20 with an additional 4 tracks, the already star-studded opus adds more star power with the likes of Nigeria’s Chike on the “Craving You Heavy” Remix, Artin Pro produced “Envision” on which she unlocks her inner The Weeknd, Embu born Kenyan singer-songwriter Bensoul on “Moving Forward” and closes it up with DJ Neptune assisted “Feeling”.

emPawa Africa Founder Mr Eazi had this year hit up his signee DJ Neptune to get to studio with Azawi and Fik Fameica and “Moving Forward” is the product of this engagement; just without Fik’s verses.

The expanded edition of the LP arrived last night; an alteration to Azawi’s original release plan and as a way of the singer doing a double release as it arrived at the heels of the talented singer’s release of the visuals for “Bamututte”; yet another track off the original version of “African Music” the album.

“Bamututte” has received praise online from various netizens for its 3 in one plot, direction, and storytelling of how Azawi loses her lover to another woman because she has got a better body shape and a bigger “backside”.

The songstress is also warming up for her very first concert set for next week 22nd July at the Lugogo Gardens, just opposite the MTN Philip Omondi Stadium. Tickets are here.
