Maiden Pulse Influencer Awards Uganda: See Full List Of Winners

Date:

Being the inaugural edition of the edition, the few shortfalls could be forgiven; other than that the very first of their kind;- the Pulse Influencer Awards Uganda were held yesterday, and a couple of industry hot shots in their various capacities were decorated with red star accolades plus packages in hampers from sponsors African Queen, Coca-Cola, Movit and Rwanda Air.

The ceremony took place last night at the vicinity of the Kabira Country Club Ballroom and was well attended by the nominees whose dress code was nothing short of the theme of the show; which was “Afro Excellence”.

What made the awards show quite unique was that they were happening concurrently in other territories across Africa; that is Nigeria & Ghana in Anglophone West Africa; Senegal & Côte d’Ivoire in Francophone West Africa and in East Africa (Kenya as well as Uganda).

The Pulse Influencer Awards looked at celebrating creativity, innovation, and digital communities and personalities, recognizing individuals from various sectors from arts, blogging, health and fitness, food, sports and, music, to social media, podcasts, communities duly recognized for “leveraging on technology (specifically social media) to build a following around their work or around curated works of art in their community and below were the winners from the night:
