The 2020 MTN Pulse Uganda Internship: How to Apply

Uganda’s leading Telecommunications giant through the MTN Pulse Uganda Internship Program seeks to source, develop, and accelerate undergraduates from the Universities in Uganda.

Being the home to exciting, inspirational, innovative people in the telecommunications industry, MTN Uganda passionately and selflessly works to make it’s customer’s lives a whole lot brighter.

MTN Pulse, a proposition by MTN Uganda, is a community built for young people with the aim to give them the power to be themselves, unleash their full potential and live life with #NoFear. Through this initiative, MTN looks to empower the youth, with data bundles, music streaming, video uploads, games and career placement and advice among others.

MTN Uganda’s values are brought to life by their guiding purpose which is “to Lead the delivery of a bold new digital world.” It’s from this that the MTN Pulse initiative reaches out to call for entries to its first MTN Pulse Uganda Internship program.

Eligibility

For an applicant to be eligible, they should be currently enrolled in a Ugandan University,
In their 1st or 2nd year of study and Available for the internship program that’ll run from 1st June to 14th August 2020
Internship placements available for the MTN Pulse Uganda Internship are in the following divisions or departments:

Finance, Sales & Distribution, Mobile Financial Services, Human Resources, Enterprise Business, Network Group, IT, Corporate Services & Legal, Capital Projects Group, Marketing, Risk & Compliance etc.

How to Apply

Here are a few guidelines on how to fill out your online application form

1. Upon visiting the leap.ly website, you’ll be shown that you do not qualify for any of the opportunities listed on the website. This is because you will not have yet filled in any of the required information that is relevant for the internship application.. So, kindly proceed to sign up.. There are many options, but I would advise you to “sign up using your Google account”.

2. Fill in accordingly. Your name, date of birth, and the rest of the details.

3. On the part where they ask for your academic documents or identification card, and university transcript. Simply take a photo of each of the required and mentioned documents above and you will have to upload those pictures of them on each respective field where need be.

As for Your University transcript, all you will have to do is take a picture of your original university admission letter.

Limited slots are available, so apply as soon as possible.

The Deadline for applying is 31st March 2020.
