Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold has without reasonable doubt had yet another amazing year, securing hit after hit; from ‘It Is What It Is”, “Antidote”, Davido-assisted amapiano centric “High”.
With “High” doing wonders on the charts, the singer still featured on a song with DJ Tunez and the Legendary Ashanti titled “Energy”. Lest we forget the Lucky Daye-assisted “Sinner” as well.
In preparation for his fourth studio album, the “Sabina” singer has now offered fans a title and release date for the project.
While on social, AG Baby yesterday evening unveiled the title for his new album as well as gave his fans an expected release date when the project will be available.
Last month, Adekunle Kosoko better known by his stage name Adekunle Gold made it known to fans that they should be expecting a new project from him very soon.
The Afro-fusion singer’s last full body of work Afropop Vol. 1 was released in August 2020, and composed of many banging tracks like ‘Something Different’ “Pretty Girl”, “Okay”, among others.
Adekunle Gold looks ready for a new album and he has wasted no time in giving his fans what they want, a title and release date.
He is set to thrill his fans with a new body of work Catch Me It You Can which is scheduled to drop soon; by soon I mean 4th February, 2022.
When the LP arrives, it’ll be his 4th studio album, guess that’s why he chose to release it on the 4th day of February too. His other albums; ‘Gold”, (debut), “About 30” (second) & Afropop Vol. 1 (3rd LP).
At the time of last year’s release, his better half Simi & him were expecting their first child “Deja”. We’ve seen Patoranking do it and even going a step further to name his whole album “Wilmer” after his daughter. Now that Adekunle’s a father, do you think these elements might be infused in his artistry on this new project?
