Vision Group incorporated as the New Vision Printing & Publishing Company Limited (NVPPCL) by far one of Uganda’s oldest companies to exist, with a Spanish of over 50+ years is a multimedia business housing newspapers, magazines, internet publishing, televisions, radios, commercial printing, advertising and distribution services. Located on first street industrial area, Vision Group seeks to recruit in the following areas:
(1) Position: Social Media Executive
Reports To: Digital Marketing Optimizer
Contract Terms: Full Time Basis
Duty Station: Kampala
Description of purpose: To manage assigned Vision Group social media assets, execute marketing and sales campaigns to drive brand awareness, audience growth and engagement.
Key Result Areas:
- Manage all assigned social media pages
- Run and execute sales & brand marketing campaigns on social media
- Coverage of assigned Vision Group events on social media
- Set-up company social media accounts and provide guidance to the respective brand administrators on how to grow and retain their audiences
- Monitor, track and report on the weekly, monthly and quarterly performance of all the Vision Group social media accounts
- Develop reports for online client campaigns
- Manage the activities of the Vision Group Social Media Influencers.
Qualification and Experience:
- Diploma / Certificate in Marketing, Communications or Digital Marketing
- 1-2 years experience in social media marketing and management
Technical Competences:
- Extensive knowledge of social media marketing and communication.
- Computer proficiency.
Behavioral Competences:
- Excellent oral and written communication and
- Excellent proof-reading skills.
- Creative communication of content in line with brand persona.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and self-driven.
- Customer Service Skills.

Description of purpose: To develop a variety of products to promote broadcast programming and activities online.
Key Result Areas:
- Develop creative and innovative ideas and concepts that promote Vision Group broadcasting programming in line with established brand guidelines and policies for the English and Luganda audiences
- Proof read to ensure accurate, consistent and high quality work.
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies.
- Present finalized ideas and concepts to internal broadcast clients.
Qualification and Experience:
- A Diploma in Graphics design from a recognized institution.
- 1- 2 years working experience in a design related filed/ advertising agency.
- Experience in Graphics and Typography.
Technical Competences:
- Good working knowledge of the latest design software – Adobe Creative Suit (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator,Adobe InDesign).
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, design and implement brand communication.
- Broad knowledge about branding.
- Photography
Behavioral Competences:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense.
