Nyende Presents Emotionally Charged Second EP – CONVALESCENCE

Date:

Convalescence the LP is Nyende’ second album after his 2020 EP “Broken But Made Beautiful”.

“I was writing this album while figuring out what my purpose is. I have made so many mistakes in the past and making it up to God and those I have wronged was the solution. This album is not only the beginning of Who I Am created to be but also have a closer relationship with the creator of all beings. Moving away from my past was one of the hardest things for me to do while working on this.”

The gifted Alternative, HipHop/Soul singer-songwriter Nyende Joshua released a solid 8-track extended play called ‘CONVALESCENCE’ yesterday. Like his other former works, the new self-released project takes us on a spiritual journey while exploring: fear, compromise, open conversation about anxiety, trauma, and self-care, among other themes. Its production is heavenly, and subtle.

Nyende describes this album as his best project so far: “The album is so close to being done and it by far surpasses anything I’ve ever released before!” read a social media post.

‘CONVALESCENCE’ houses tracks as assisted by Lectro Joel (Intro), Anna Makula on ‘Real Ones’, Amadou (feat. Mikaela), Meester Rgm on 3:23Am Prayer, Mitche.ll.k on track ‘I’m Okay’ and Anna Makula once again; this time joined by Reva for ‘Blink’.

As a fan of sultry new wave Rap/Soul music, you may enjoy his latest offering. Also, if this body of work gets you hooked, you still feasting bro; – the 19year old singer just hinted on following up the project soon. MORE IS OTW”; he reassured.

Currently based in Kampala Uganda, Nyende studied music production, vocals and cultivated his sound. From his first project; the “BROKEN BUT MADE BEAUTIFUL”, the gospel urban singer has created songs with self-care and breaking free as a center theme, the revival and transformation that comes with being saved.

I would personally describe Nyende’s music as ‘not your everyday gospel’ music. it’s emotional, vulnerable and its composition only leaves you wanting more; case in point is ‘Better Off Alone’; which he delivers over a euphoric piano, combined with a baritone voice.
