July is the new August/ December! This follows a set of events lined up for this month. One of them being Swangz Avenue’s Roast and Rhyme which is back for a 15th Edition.

Scheduled for 1st – 3rd July, Swangz Avenue and Bell Lager are this time taking the enjoyments to Jinja with the ‘Nyam on the Nile’ edition.
‘Nyam on the Nile’ will see guests get together by the River Nile in Jinja for a chill weekend of fun outdoor group activities and games, karaoke and live music, and roasted meat washed down with cold beer.
“Spanning three days, the countryside experience is taking it to the wild in a bid to promote local tourism which has since spiked since the Pandemic and this event is only tapping into an already growing habit of local exploration.”, said Julius Kyazze, the Head of Business at Swangz Avenue.
The event program will kick off with Bon Fire night on Friday which will give revelers a chance to freestyle, Karaoke, poetry while feasting on roasted wild meats. Saturday will open with touring of the different tourist attractions in Jinja including the source of the River Nile which is the longest river in the world, Quad biking, horse riding, tubing, bungee jumping, and many others. Guests will be treated to an evening full of meat, and live entertainment by Uganda’s best performers and the event will be crowned with an after-party featuring the best DJs.
It will be an all-white Brunch affair on Sunday and this activity will commence at 10 am with guests having a chance to taste different food cuisines in the company of soul music from the best Ugandan performers.
