Award-winning African-American R&B quartet Boyz II Men who are one of the most iconic R&B groups in the music industry have been announced to be performing live at the MTN Yetu Festival in Kampala, Uganda.
The event will take place at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds on Sunday, June 11th, and feature other exceptional artists that include Kenyan boy band Sauti Soul, as well as local artists who are yet to be announced as revealed by Peter Mungoma, the CEO of Capital FM who mentioned this during a press conference held earlier today.
Somdev Sen, the Chief Marketing Officer of MTN Uganda thanked the headline sponsors (Capital Radio) for the venture saying this will go a long way in promoting the entertainment sector.
“It’s only by working together that we can achieve big goals and this partnership is a testament to that.”, he added.
Tickets to the festival can be purchased online, and also using MTN MOMO Pay starting May 9th with Ordinary tickets going for UGX. 200,0000 (however these are UGX. 150,000 on MTN Mobile Money), Silver are at UGX. 300,000 and a table (Gold) ticket is for UGX. 5,000,000.
