Eddy Kenzo named among the Top 15 Sub-Saharan African Artists by Billboard

Date:

Allow me open this piece with a rhetoric question: Is there any artist that has had more wins than Eddy Kenzo here in Uganda? From having songs that feature in international blockbusters, winning accolades for music, headlining some of the biggest festivals in the world, and breaking record beyond borders, not to mention the charts he has topped continent wise.

The latest win to add to the collection is his feature in the top 15 most streamed artists in Sub- Saharan Africa as per Billboard’s rankings. Based on global views, Kenzo has gathered 109.73M views worldwide which sending him straight to the 13th spot on this list; just above Yemi Alade and Joe Boy, though he comes after celebrated gospel singer; Sinach.
