In other related Love, Damini, and Burna Boy news; ‘Last Last’ this week debuted on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart at number 86.
This makes it the 6th Afrobeats to make the chart; after Wizkid & Tems’ “Essence”, “Love Nwantiti” by CKay, Amarae, Moliy & Kali Uchis’ “Sad Girls Luv Money”, Fireboy DML & Ed Sheeran with the “Peru (Remix)” and now “Last Last” by Burna Boy.
The performer also made a revelation that he’s made the most money from this track than his entire catalog, despite the 60% cut that goes to Toni Braxton who owns the original composition.
Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy is making more money from his ‘Last Last’ track in spite of giving 60% rights to the owner of the original composition, ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough.’ From which ‘Last Last’ was sampled.
