With “Double Trouble”, Lamu is here to remind us just how lethal the 25-year-old songstress is with a pen!
As Ahlam Ismail otherwise known as Lamu gears up to join Tiwa Savage this coming week at the Tiwa Savage Live In Kampala concert, on Friday last week, she released her new single “Double Trouble,” which was hand-selected by her usual collaborators Reymacc and Boris Kintu.

Alongside the track dropped a badass, cinematic-themed lyrics video as created by Big TFlex of Lamu appearing in two facets.
In case you have listened to her track “Pata”, “Double Trouble” embodies a fully-blown Afro-pop sound and melodies on which Lamu sings in Kiswahili, English, and Luganda about her and her lover are the “baddest couple”.
“We di baddest couple, me nawewe double trouble”, she croons.
An accompanying music video for the track is in the works and drops Friday this week.
