Poised iconic Ugandan singer, songwriter, and producer Alexander Bagonza alias A Pass has revealed that he would love to work with Jamaican superstar Vybz Kartel.

He shared this detail and more during a recent interview on BBC Africa, where he was in a video call interview on “This is Africa” at his studio.

While speaking on there, he answered a couple of questions, from what he last googled, the last person he sent a photo to, on whether he would choose fame over fortune, money over love, what music he’s been listening to of late, to which he answered that he listens to only music by himself, so he can grow, improve and become a better version of he is as a musician.

On which artist he dreams to work with, the “Wamu” crooner, who is fresh off the wheels of his outing his 3rd studio album “BAGONZA”, without batting an eye mentioned it is Vybz Kartel and that he has a dream this will happen soon. When further put on the spot that the caveat for him to record a whole album with his dream collaborator, he would have to give up gym (which we all very well know is so close to his heart), A Pass went on to say he would give up the two years of gym to have that dream realized of recording music with Vybz Kartel. Talk of determination!

A Pass is no stranger to making music with Jamaican artists, as he’s previously collaborated with Konshens on the “Gamululu” Remix, among others, so him working with Vybz Kartel, a singer with multiple hits to his belt like “Summer Time”, “Whine to the Top” on which he was featured by Wizkid, to mention but a few.
