A New Mavin has been activated & he’s by the name Bayanni!

By far if not Nigeria’s leading Record Label: Mavin Records has unveiled a new addition to their artist roaster.

Previously known as Zhenoboy, Bayanni serves as the latest recruit to the music camp, just after Boy Spyce back then in April.

In an unveiling video shared by Don Jazzy, the label’s Founder, Don Jazzy is seen in a science laboratory alongside popular skit makers Sabinus and Brain Jotter where he reveals that Bayanni has gone through a series of preparations to ready him for the industry; alluding to the Mavin Artist Academy where the label trains the artists in branding, vocal trainings etc before they are introduced to the public.

With this unveiling as the newly signed artist to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records, Bayanni joins the likes of Boy Spyce, Ladipoe, Ayra Starr, Crayon, Rema, Magixx, and others on the label.

Bayanni first captured the attention of the netizens with his soulful sound and catchy lyrics as well covers to popular songs such as Fireboy DML’s Peru (19th Of October 2021), Jowo by Davido (14th Of October 2021), and CKay’s Felony (April 2021) which he dropped in 2021.

He also has some original releases to his name; including singles ‘BMW’, ‘African Beauty’, ‘Duro’, and Ballerina.

The Afro-pop singer and songwriter began composing Afropop and Afrobeats songs in the comfort of his parents’ house and hostel room in the school and his musical style is heavily influenced by Olamide, Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid.

As is the standard procedure, upon getting signed, Bayanni has released a self-titled EP: Bayanni the EP. Run it below and share your thoughts on the new add to the Mavin Family.
