Canada-based Ugandan fast rising artiste Rev Boy dropped a new track early this week (1st November); the brand-new release has him confess his admiration for a girl by the name ‘Kansiime’.

According to many, the comedian who goes by a similar name ‘Kansiime’ seems to be the inspiration behind it; which could partly be true; for he sings about his admiration and adoration for the local comedienne Anne Kansiime and how he loves her deeply.

He sings: ‘my baby kansiime, you are the best I know, don’t you ever mess with my kansiime’, my bubu kansiime, you are the best I know, dduka jangu mubwangu twezimbe’.

In case you once watched or still do follow Anne Kansiime’s ‘Don’t Mess with Kansiime’, you’d have seen what Rev did there.

To further advance his intentions/ expression of feelings, he used Kansiime in the promo visuals of the new song. How cool is that? 🥳 😎
