To start with, towards the end of last month, various efforts were put together, birthing a cinematic neon billboard situated on Old Kira Road. This has “We Wish You A Very DSTV Holiday” inscribed on it, and it lights up once it is nighttime. In itself, it aligns with the DSTV Holiday campaign, which is geared towards reemphasizing DSTV’s unwavering commitment to being the leading video content provider for all ages, audiences, and pockets, more so in these times as we gear up to celebrate Christmas.

Being that it is Holiday time, schools are closed, and many are on leave from work, and the bigger deal being that Christmas is coming up, DSTV brings viewers close to a buffet of content, including local dramas such as “Damalie”, “Beloved”, and “Sanyu”, sports, telenovelas (soaps), cartoons, etc.

DSTV is therefore extending a message of emphasis to new and existing subscribers, beckoning them to embrace the festive fervor by renewing their subscription to the enchanting DSTV Family Bouquet at the irresistible price of UGX. 64,000 by using either the MyDStv App or dialing *206# and following prompts.

Up and until January 2024, DSTV has also set a dedicated Pop Up Channel to broadcast all things Christmas. From musicals to films. The channel is accessible on all bouquets as Channel 198.

But wait, there’s more. Unlike in previous years, this year (2023), DSTV has a way of bridging the bond between fans and their favorite stars from the local shows. They created a mini website to create greeting Christmas cards in form of DSTv Wish Lists, customize them with a heartwarming message and image against background designs having casts from shows like SANYU, Beloved, Hotel Mara, Damalie, Prestige, and Urban Life, which they can share with friends and family.

To Create A Christmas Greeting Card, Follow The Steps below:

  2. There’s an option to take a selfie or upload an image, that is to be attached to a post of your favourite show from the variety on display.
