Today at 11am E.A.T, singer songwriter shared his second single since going independent. The new song is titled “Ngamba”. “Ngamba” makes it the second track the “Obubadi” singer has put out, under his self-owned indie label John Blaq Music; with the first being “Mu Lubiri”, which he released back then in June.
While in an interview on the Sanyu FM Breakfast club last month (June) and on The Jam (97Fm Radiocity) last week, John Kasadha alias John Blaq did say he has an EP (Extended Play) in the works. We will update you on when it is out.
So, as we were still shooting our shots with ‘Mu Lubiri’, then ‘Ngamba’ happened. Well, ‘Ngamba’ is a Luganda word translated to mean “Tell Me”. It is a love song with a smooth flow and gently laid out lyrics.
In his new song, John Blaq comes back with yet another Love story filled with his confessions to the love of his love. John expresses the comfort and solace he finds in the woman’s words that causes him numbness because it is amazing.
With suspicion, John proceeds to ask the lady he is amazed by her love if she is willing to stay with him and asks her to tell him the truth about their love.
John gives the dream lady the assurance that sometimes love birds get distracted by so many things but whatever bad things that are said should not stand between their love. John concludes by asking the lady of his dreams that all he wants is an assurance that she isn’t leaving.
I have said this and I’ll say this again, John has done nothing but give us tunes pon tunes since his debut in 2018, with ‘Sweet Love’, which he followed with a spree of other bangers ‘Tukwatagane’, ‘Obubadi’, ‘Makanika’, ‘Do Dat’, among many others; with ‘Ngamba’ joining them.
The auditory charm ‘Ngamba’ was written by John Blaq himself, produced by Big Davie (with whom he worked with previously on ‘Mu Lubiri’) and Bomba Music, and the mastering role was executed by Herbertskillz. The accompanying music video to the audio was directed by M. Grate Pest of Grate Make Films and we see them do well to play around with the set, lighting and coloring; from dark blue lighting to other shades.
J.B like I like to refer him to announced the release of the new single on his socials and shared a snippet of it as well:
You can stream the 3minute and 03 seconds ‘Ngamba’ audio here; because it is available like all John Blaq’s previous projects on all digital music streaming and downloading platforms and sites.
The music video to John’s ‘Ngamba’ currently stands at 9.4K views as of the time of publishing this article. Be sure to check it out, and share widely.
Also, if you are the type that likes to sing along; like I sometimes like to do, here are the lyrics to ‘Ngamba’. Let’s get lip syncing:
