Following the massive success of “Empathy”, and after much anticipation, Lukas Blacc has now upped the stakes with a remix version.
The Ugandan rapper and his collaborator Ledra have joined forces with one of the country’s biggest exports, trailblazer singer A Pass.
Originally released on the 10th of February 2023, “Empathy” served as the lead delivery on Lukas’ ‘Love Made’ EP. Fueled by the record’s unstoppable momentum, the “Ebyange” singer has now taken “Empathy” to newer heights set for continued continental supremacy. The remix keeps to the original track’s upbeat and heartfelt Afropop groove, with A Pass adding an extra layer of energy and life to the track, blending Lukas Blacc’s soulful melody with A Pass’s sensual yet arresting melodies and Ledra adding his sound engineering/ production finesse to create a dope remix.
This becomes yet another exploit in which we see the “ABANTU” crooner work with an urban artist, with the past ones including Joshua Baraka on “OMU” and Lagum the Rapper plus Melissa Mulungi & Aethan Music’s ‘CALL ON ME’.
