The queen of Christmas has added yet another major milestone to her docket!
Mariah Carey Tuesday this week continued to prove that she is indeed the Queen of Christmas, thanks to her festive season classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’.
The song has of today amassed a whopping 1 billion streams on music streaming service; – Spotify.
While sharing the news on social; the singer wrote:
Elsewhere, the diva has continued to reign supreme atop the chats, with her track currently charting at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 whence dethroning Adele’s ‘Easy On Me’ (which is currently at #2).
Originally released in 1994, the legendary holiday anthem first hit #1 in 2019 (becoming Carey’s 19th overall chart-topper). It repeated the feat in 2020 and has done the same this year/ week.
‘All I Want’ is to soon be added to the Spotify 1 Billion Club playlist and join the likes of “Lean On” by Major Lazer, MO & DJ Snake, Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You, and the likes.
