Mike Mungu, real name Munguriek Michael, hasn’t stopped since his initial roll out.

After a series of live performances at Vibes Nzuri, the Patio Stars, Picnic Sunday Fest, and My Live by Shisa Nyama, he launched his musical career with “Mine,” attracting the attention and garnering the interest of well-known media personality, influencer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Sheilah Carol Gashumba, and consumers of urban music.

After that, Mike spent some time honing his production, singing, networking, and instrumental skills as well as developing his sound and, eventually, his identity.

The 21-year-old crooner made a comeback last week on July 21 with “KAGINA,” a song he claims is an homage to all the women who make the decision to love their men in all the right ways.

The tune, which Mike claims is from his soon-to-be-released body of work, “Blessed” the EP, was produced in close collaboration with KLIN.

“KAGINA” is performing well on streaming services since it met audience expectations and did not disappoint even slightly.
