YBNL Boss and indigenous rapper, Olamide continues to pull the weights of fame in Nigeria’s music scene. His latest announcement has left many fans and music lovers in a frenzy mood.  This is after the ‘Greenlight’ singer announced that he is to drop his album titled” UY Scuti” mid-June.

Making the announcement, he wrote:

These took to the comments section of the post to share their views with most fans revealing how they can’t wait for the album to be released.

Twitter user, Zeus, commended the artiste’s album title as he tweeted, “Olamide and his album titles. UY Scuti – A super giant star. And that’s exactly who he is.”

Olamide released his hitting ‘Carpe Diem’ album in the October of 2020. The newly announced album is coming less than a year (8 months to be exact) after he released his 10th studio album where he featured Omah Lay, Bella Shmurda, Phyno, Peruzzi, Bad Boy Timz, and his signee, Fireboy DML to drop an LP which I considered a 10/10. He will be coming through with UY Scuti in June.

Popularly called Baddo or BaddoSneh, the rap star put out his debut studio album ‘Rapsodi’ in 2011, while he was still signed to Coded Tunes. After releasing ‘YBNL’, his second studio album, he launched YBNL Nation, his independent label imprint, which has produced talented musicians like Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy, and Chinko Ekun. In 2020, YBNL signed a joint venture deal with Empire Distribution, a US record and music publishing company.

Although Baddo is yet to unveil the track list for the album or the featured artist on the album, he only shared that the album will be dropping on the 14th of June, 2021 plus what’s presumed to be its album artwork. The artwork just like Carpe Diem’s is of Olamide having a cigga.

When UY Scuti arrives, it will be the 32-year-old rapper’s 8th studio album. He released the “999” EP in February 2020, followed it up with the ‘Carpe Diem’ album later and now ‘UY Scuti’.

Three solid projects in the space of a year plus requires an insane work rate and Olamide just does this effortlessly. He recently featured on DJ Enimoney’s ‘Sugar daddy’. Enjoy it below, as we wait on the album:-
