Pearl of Africa Star Search contest Grand Prize unveiled

The Pearl of Africa Star Search, a new campaign designed to promote Uganda’s musical talent by giving aspiring musicians a platform to showcase their talent to viewers at home has released the grand prize the best act will be walking away with.

The grand prize going to be worth Shs60M which includes a cash prize, recording contract, music videos, talent management, collaborations, marketing, flights, tourism trips, and much more.

What is needed from the aspiring artiste to stand a chance of winning this grand prize is to send a 1-minute video singing a song of your choice along with the official application form. All auditions should be sent via the following options, the POA Star Search website; www.poastar.com, the official POA Star Search Whatsapp number; 0777 564 997 and the official POA Star Search email; star@poastar.com. Physical submissions are also accepted at the POA Star Search headquarters located at Plot 1 Kololo Hill Drive, Kampala.

Submissions opened on April 10, 2021, and close on May 09, 2021.

“We are excited to receive auditions from all parts of the country; Central, East, West, and North as we continue the search for the ultimate music star and next tourism ambassador,” Aly Allibhai from Talent Africa Group said.
