Malembe Lifestyle is the gift that keeps giving! This follows their announcement that Rwandan singer Mike Kayihura will be in the country to headline his own concert later this month!

The singer-songwriter, who is best known for songs “Anytime”, and “Tuza” yesterday took to his Twitter to announce the news.
“UG. Can’t wait to vibe. I see you soon. 24th June. Pull up. Love. Mike wrote alongside the artwork of the event and 3 flags of Uganda & a red heart emoji.
This comes at the realm of the 30-year-old’s recent success with the release of his second EP ‘Sun’, and 2019’s ‘Barely Mixed’.
“A Night With Mike Kayihura” will continue Malembe Lifestyle’s streak of having one of Uganda’s most exquisite events, in terms of organization and execution; with their most recent success being Fireboy Live in Kampala which was organized together with Guinness Smooth and A Night With Chike, which was in conjunction with Baileys.
Ever since the announcement of Mike’s coming to Uganda, his fandom has been cranked with an overdrive of excitement as they’ve anticipated his coming to Uganda, for a concert, and here it is, they shall be served!
About Mike Kayihura:
Born October 16th in Nairobi (Kenya), Mike Kayihura’s musical journey began in the choir called ‘Christ Church Lin Rwanda’, where he groomed his talent while learning more about music.
Having completed his studies at an international school, he then embarked on his journey as an independent artist. Mike briefly attended music school in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) in 2013 and it was here that he studied songwriting by understanding of literature and its development.
The Rwandan RnB storytelling musician then began releasing singles leading up to his debut album ‘Barely Mixed’ which houses his career-defining track ‘Sabrina’. Mike Kayihura’s style of music blends Kinyarwanda with English to create a sound known as “Kinyatrap”. He also penned Bruce Melodie’s widely loved “Katerina” song in 2019.
All through his career, Mike has shared a stage with Angel Mutoni, Mucyo, and many others.
He is to this June 24th at the Kampala Serena Hotel share it once again, this time with some of Uganda’s finest acts; as Malembe has a reputation of aligning great talents for shows/ events.
