As Levixone is still in celebration time of his recent two million viewership count on his 2019 hit single ‘Chikibombe’s music video on YouTube. He bags yet another major milestone.

This time round, he’s been featured on Canada based Rwandan recording gospel artist, business woman and philanthropist Beza Deborah on her new release titled ‘Celebrate’.

Born Sam Lucas Lubyogo, Levixone has made a name for himself as one of Uganda’s top notch recording gospel artists with such a meek and captivating hail into music industry, he still chooses to fix his eyes on God with a continued pursuit of his dream that God had laid on his heart and this is felt in every song he releases. Levixone is best known for hits like ‘Samanya’, ‘Ponya’, ‘Turn the Replay’, ‘Blessed Ft. John Blaq’ and till of recent the amazing ‘Chikibombe’ jam, that took audiences by a storm.

So, you could be wondering well, how did Levixone meet Beza Deborah?

Remember Don Moen’s East African tour last year in 2019; which saw him perform in Uganda and then proceed to Kigali (Rwanda). Because of Levixone’s outstanding representation of the gospel music scene in Uganda, he was one of the artists that were lined up to perform along Mr. Moen at the MTN Rwanda sponsored Don Moen concert. This was where Beza and Levixone met.

At the time they were unable to discuss the project for the song since Beza had to quickly fly back to Canada; where she’s based. Upon coming to Kampala later on, and with the already existing bond between the two gospel artists in the region, Levixone and discussed in depth the songwriting project, which they immediately confirmed and implemented quickly, especially Levixone’s passion for Rwanda and quickly hit studio and recorded ‘’Celebrate’.

Rwandan gospel singer Beza Deborah teams up with Levixone to ‘Celebrate’ Jesus’ love on new single 1 MUGIBSON

In an interview with Rwandan news site INYARWANDA, Beza Deborah revealed that Levixone never troubled her because upon reaching out, he connected her with the Ugandan Producer (Daddy Andre) who helped them in this song. She said Levixone welcomed both of his comments, which made her very grateful. “It’s not difficult for me, he welcomed me, he took me to the studio, we went on to make songs. He was very happy with it, he loves Rwanda very much,” she said.

And like we all know it is always made magic whenever Andre touches a song; it is bound to create a certain buzz around it cuz of clean sound.

‘Celebrate’ is performed in four languages; Kinyarwanda, English, Swahili and Ugandan. It is a song about rejoicing in Jesus Christ who redeemed the world and gave them salvation. They are truly grateful to Jesus Christ for His courageous work on the cross. They also sing that those who seek a blessing deserve nothing more than Jesus Christ.

Beza Deborah, who has been dreaming of making music for 20 years and started it in 2019, told INYARWANDA that her short-term goal in music is to spread the good news around the world through hymns to God.

The announcement about the release of her and Levixone’s single and the video were revealed in a post by Deborah:

The song upon release came with the accompanying visuals along and the music video was directed and shot by Heights Montage. It is the second song Beza has released since its release called ‘Muhumure’ which she released in 2019. 🥳🙃
