As Uganda continues to warm up for the African bad girl Tiwa Savage’s upcoming ‘Tiwa Save Live In Kampala’ concert, this past week the details regarding the headlining acts were unveiled.
This won’t be the first time the ‘Somebody’s Son’ singer graces Ugandan soil; she made an appearance here back then in 2015 at Kati-Kati Grounds (Lugogo) where she put up a spirited performance leaving many wishing she could return once more.
Safe to say fans’ prayers have been answered. The Afrobeat queen is set for a massive show at the home of many Ugandan concerts; the Lugog cricket Oval on the 29th of July.
Joining 42-year-old performing singer-songwriter Tiwatope Savage-Balogun alias Tiwa Savage will be a heavy female lineup of entertainers led by Vinka, Cindy Sanyu, Winnie Nwagi, Karole Kasita, Lamu, Sandra Nansambu, Deejays Alisha and DJ Zato with host emcees Miss Deedan and Sheila Salta.
Known for her hits ‘Get It Now (Ft. Omarion), ‘Koroba’, ‘Temptation (Ft. Sam Smith), ‘Ma Love (Ft. Wizkid), ‘Romantic (Ft. Korede Bello), and ‘Kele Kele’ plus ‘Eminado (Ft. Don Jazzy), entrance to Tiwa Savage’s show will come at a pocket friendly cost of Ugx. 50,000 for the early bird tickets, Ugx. 70,000 at the entrance whereas early bird VIP ticket are to go for UGX 100,000 and UGX 120,000 at the gate; and a VVIP Table 0f 8 at Ugx. 3Million.

Tiwa is currently on her R&B/ Afrobeats ‘Water And Garri” Tour, which follows her August 2021 EP titled the same which featured Brandy assisted hit track ‘Somebody’s Son’, with features from Amaarae, Nas & Rich King. She was also most recently named the African Brand Ambassador for TECNO Mobile.
