Following its 2year hiatus, Club Pilsener’s University-themed event: the “Club Dome” will be returning for a 6th edition, this time harder than before.
The regional event that used to happen targeted mainly university-going students and millennials as a whole in the pre-pandemic times.
As ‘Club Dome’ makes a grand return, they will kick off in Kampala on Saturday, July 16th, 2022 at the Lugogo Cricket Oval on a high note with Nigerian Sensational singer & performing artist Adekunle Gold (widely referred to as AG Baby) and one of the most sought After South African rappers Nelspruit Mpumalang also popularly known as Costa Titch.
“Club Dome” occasionally happens under themes; whereas 2018’s had a Caribbean Feel, this 2022 is taking a futuristic approach tagged #DomeLifeDopeLife.
While speaking at its relaunch yesterday Wednesday 8th June at Panamera Bar and Lounge, the Brand Manager Club & Premiums NBL Joel Galla said that there was need to relaunch the Club Dome as it is one of the events that reaches out to most of Club Pilsener’s consumers.
“Club Dome had taken a long break due to the Covid19 lockdown and the ban on events. It used to be one of the events we used to reach out to our consumers and for two years this has not happened, which is why we felt the need to make a huge, big comeback.”, Joel Galla, the Brand Manager – Club & Premiums Nile Breweries Uganda Limited, noted.
He further revealed that as it has been done in the past. “Club Dome will have tours across the country reaching out to their consumers in different cities and towns. The Dome is going to move across the country as done in the previous years. We want to reach out to all our consumers and re-ignite that spark for partying and having a good time which the lockdown had dimmed. If you are in Northern or Western Uganda, we are coming to party with you.”, Joel Galla concluded.
Although the upcountry venues are yet to be confirmed, the events will be held within close proximity to universities in the specific regions.
The Club Dome joins the list of entertainment events that Club Pilsener has been unleashing since the re-opening of concerts and events which include Purple Party Tours, Capital FM Tours, and Brunch-in-House among others.
It also returns at a time where campusers’ favorite Club bottles, the 330ml “Club Shorty” bottles, have been reintroduced to the market as well as the Club Pilsener cans; meaning that revelers at the Club Dome will have three options of Club Pilsener packaging to choose from; The 500ml long neck, The Club sleek cans, and The Shorty.
The relaunch gala was closed off with performances from Akeine, Kohen Jaycee, Feffe Bussi, and DJ Roja as well as the revelation of the headlining acts Adekunle Gold and Costa Titch and John Blaq as well as Deejaying duo; DJ Slick Stuart & John Blaq as the opening acts for the #DomeLifeDopeLife happening next month Saturday July 16th 2022 at the Lugogo Cricket Oval as Adekunle Gold & Costa Titch will be rocking Kampala at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
