Adele Earns Fifth Number One On Billboard Hot 100 Chart With Record Breaking Single ‘Easy On Me’

When Adele makes a comeback, it is indeed in a big way.

Breaking her five-year music hiatus, the music superstar last week but one returned with ‘Easy On Me’ and has just landed yet another #1 single.

On the latest Hot 100 update by Billboard, Adele has claimed the #1 single in with her smash ‘Easy On Me.’

Over the last week, it drew 65 million radio airplay audience impressions and garnered 53.9 million streams and sold 74,000 downloads.

Moreover, the song becomes the eighth-greatest vault to #1 in the Hot 100’s history after it debuted at #68 last week.

Additionally, ‘Easy’ becomes Adele’s fifth #1 single and her seventh top 10 single.

It is worth noting that she has sent he first single from each of her three most recent albums to # 1, as ‘Rolling In The Deep,’ ‘Hello,’ and now ‘Easy On Me’ have all claimed the top spot.

‘Easy On Me’ appears on Adele’s upcoming ’30’ album due out November 19.
