13 years after ‘Avatar’ broke all sorts of box office records, the movie extravaganza is back with its eagerly anticipated sequel.
Christened ‘Avatar: The Way of the Water,’ the narrative is set more than a decade after the events of the first film.
The James Cameron-directed adventure tells the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their children), the trouble that follows them, the extremes they go to keep each other safe, and the literal battles they fight to stay alive.
Following multiple delays (8), as the crew took more time on the writing, pre-production, and visual effects process, Avatar: The Way of Water stars Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet.
‘Avatar: The Way of the Water’ releases internationally starting December 14 and lands in North America on December 16.
