The event was also attended by key figures; Malaika Nyanzi (media personality/ actress), Sasha Vybz (cinematographer) and Uncle Mo (comedian) and saw the fast-rising star add more light to the Bright house with an energetic performance; Starting off with her hit song Repeat it, Lofit, Quinamino, she climaxed her performance with her 2021 hit single My Year.
She joins the likes of ‘Need You’ Nigerian Afropop Singer Fireboy DML, Nollywood actress, Beverley Naya, Entertainment content creator – Oli Ekun, and independent photojournalist, Yagazie Emezi, Tanzanian singer, Nandy, self-taught inventor Kehinde Durojaye and Prince Nelson Enwerem, a mover and shaker who is setting trends and leading the way in culture in Nigeria.
In Nigeria, the announcement was made during the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality TV show tagged ‘BBNaija Lockdown’.
In a press statement; Uganda Breweries Ltd Brand Manager Elizabeth Mutamuliza states that:
