Pretoria (SA)’s fast rising rapper B-Smirk has released the accompanying visuals to his track “Heart”.

The Familiar Faces Entertainment signee describes this as a chapter that is being written: “as a visual representation of the dawning of a new era”.

It is song 3 off Blessing Mtshakazi, also known as B-Smirk’s December 2021 EP “Element” and it captures a romantic and emotional disconnection between two individuals wherein one is left alone, distraught, and with plenty of regrets.

‘Heart’ further portrays B-Smirk’s vivid storytelling capabilities that’s heavily felt through the verses, rhythmic rhymes, elements, and wordplay.

Speaking of its music video, “Heart” is set indoors alongside the fireplace. The fire represents a burning desire to move on whilst being engulfed and soaked into the couch with no ability to move due to one’s thoughts.
