C Dave Honcho has enlisted the legendary Iryn Namubiru for a new remix of his trendy hit single, “Gwe.”

The remix of the single marks Iryn’s second official release since featuring on Sama Sodjah (her label mate’s ‘Kikondoolo’) back then in March, 2021, having signed to the Ntinda based label.

The remix has been in the works for quite some time, given the team at Masters Music to deliver the very best works on the project, and this was realized with the efforts of Producer Skillz On The Beat, who also worked on its mastering.

‘Gwe’ losely translates to ‘You’, and on the Afro-Dancehall fusion, that is delivered in languages English, Luganda and French, C Dave reasures his love interest that she has for so long been the girl of his dreams and now she is his baby.

The biggest catch about the track must be on the intro part of the remix where Iryn Namubiru mentions her name, but in French, and her infusion of lyrics of the Franchopone langauge, and langauge, which too is a major highlight.

‘Gwe’ the remix has a visualizer as uploaded on Masters Music’ Official YouTube Channel already stands at over 300 views.
According to sources, Iryn Namubiru is set to continue releasing more music tending to the fusion of Afrobeats and Afro-dancehall and with much more diversity. As for the visuals for ‘Gwe’ Remix, these are to be readied soon and promise to deliver a great touch of creativity and will be worked on with the fresh players to the game..

The 2minute and 13 second playtime song’s slick and breezy beat is a perfect fit for both acts as they survey the love world and all its various delights. “Gwe” and also its remix version is to appear on C Dave’s forthcoming EP ‘VWoo”, whose release date is yet to be announced.
