Gal Sport Betting Beefs Up ICT Learning In Jinja

Date:

Trading as Gal Sport Betting (A Better Place Limited) has established itself in Uganda as a powerful force when it comes to dominating the online betting scene; offering first-class sporting action coupled with entertaining casino games.

As one of its efforts in giving back to the community, Gal Sport Betting partnered with Denis Onyango for the launch of the Denis Onyango Masinde Foundation (DOMF) and is not about to stop at its efforts of transforming lives.

The company yesterday conducted a donation to St. James SS Jinja. The package included a fully well-equipped and refurbished computer laboratory consisting of the latest model of laptops, fast internet connectivity, projectors & ICT-related equipment.

“It is Gal Sport Betting’s culture to give back to society, especially those who need support. In 2021, we reached out to Masafu Hospital (Busia) to supply new mama kits and food aid to the vulnerable expectant mothers and also furnish the hospital with new mattresses and new paint job.

We have purposefully wanted to participate in bridging the gap in ICT education and the predominantly church-owned St. James SS Jinja was earmarked as the beneficiary in this project as it is home to students from hardworking low-income earners.”, said Paul Kigula the Gal Sport Betting Head of Marketing.

Representatives from the National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board and Ministry of Education witnessed the handover ceremony and appreciated Gal Sport Betting for extending a helping hand and empowering these young people to improve their access to computer-aided learning.
