John Blaq Serves Up 21 Track Self-Titled Album. Stream it Now

Date:

It has been a minute since Award winning singer/ songwriter Kasadha John also professionally known as John Blaq dropped something for the music lovers but Thursday last week marked the end of it.

John was set to roll out his EP ‘Changes’ last year November, but that didn’t happen, and instead singles release as a strategy was the drill.

With his most recent release being “Mbimala”, a Luganda word that loosely translates to “I can do all” in English, the Ngamba’ hit maker unveiled a 21-track heavy self-titled album.

The specially curated collection is an introduction to some of his career highlights for the gigantic audience that got to introduced to him in 2018 following collaboration with Swangz Avenue’s Vinka on ‘Sweet Love’. Having being opened him to the wider market in the music industry, he later made a name for himself, and dropped a couple of bangers.

Also on the LP are his beloved songs “Makanika”, “Hello”, “Tukwatagane”, “Obubadi”, “Ngamba”, “Ebyalagirwa”, “Mama Bulamu”, my personal favorite “Mu Lubiri”, among others. Some never heard before tracks are also among the 21 roll out; I mean songs like ‘Zzina”, and “Tondwaza”.

According to song credits, the project was released under Big Yard Inc, and licensed under John Blaq Music, the Trade Mark he’s been dropping music under, since quitting Black Magic Records.

The LP has producers Artin, Bomba, Andre, T.O.N and the likes, and on them tracks John shows off his “crazy, energetic and real” Afro-dancehall sound.

The set was a surprise drop, as there were no teasers, no announcements no nothing. It has a total listening time of 1Hour and 8minutes and is now available to stream and download everywhere. Listen below:
