Born in Rubaga Hospital (Kampala, Uganda), Nathan ssewaali a Ugandan Canadian Author, Photographer, cinematographer, Public Relations Officer, Author, Creative Designer, Entrepreneur infant, and child mental health Professional does that.

He has worked with various Non-Governmental Organizations, Government children’s agencies in Ontario, Uganda and across the world as an Infant and Child Mental Health Professional, Children protection worker, and social worker.

Outside his work life, Nathan Ssewaali’s other hobbies are playing in the brass band as motivated by his love for music. As a child, Nathan played in the Aldina Academy and KKL Football Academy and was once chosen as the best under 10 Goalkeeper in Uganda.

Nathan attained his undergraduate degree in Information Science and Library at Makerere University, having been certified by the Makerere university Cisco Academy in networking and Computer Repairs before he could later join the Seneca College where he graduated with a Diploma in Infant and Child Mental Health.

Following his passion for children’s rights and protection, Nathan founded Sharpshots Media Inc, a child protection worker with different non-governmental organizations and Government agencies, public relations, and communication manager for Afro Canada development foundation, he volunteers for different non-profit organizations in Uganda and Canada.

He has most recently published his maiden publication; – Lola And The Emotions Carousel: a depiction short story that depicts young Lola going from fear & sadness to joy, as she explores her feelings helped by her loving Grandma; this way she’s helped to learn about emotions and their importance in her life, and how they can impact her day-to-day life. Through tears and laughter, she understands the basics and how to manage her emotions.
