Team No Sleep signee and diva Sheebah Karungi also professionally known as Queen Karma has been on cloud nine ever since breaking through in 2014 and since set a couple of records. The latest being that she has today become the most followed female artiste in Uganda on photo and video sharing platform; Instagram, after making a total follower count of over 1,000,000 followers.

The ‘Kale Maama’ singer took to social to share the exciting news and gratitude with her followers; writing: “Let’s toast to one mullion Sheeabaholics on Instagram, the first female artist in Uganda to make one million on Instagram, I am truly grateful. Thank you, my lovers, let’s keep breaking the records,” she wrote.

Last year alone, she received her first nomination in the MTV Europe Music Awards, alongside Burna and Master KG, being the only lady in the category. With the launch of the MTV Africa Music Awards (MTV MAMAs), Sheebah scored nods in a couple of categories. Though the awards show might have been postponed, another win was in the works for the hit machine. Just last week, Sheebah got nominated alongside the Ghetto Kids in the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for 2021.

Another major boss move was launching her second entrepreneurial establishment: ‘Red Events’; an events company. This is her; just behind Holic Pads, and Natna Natural Hair (Hair extensions company).

With the social media figures being in Sheebah’s favor on Instagram, she joins the likes of Eddy Kenzo and former singer, now socialite, businesswoman and influencer Zari the boss lady with 1.1 M and 8.6M followers respectively. Sheebah also boasts 1.3M and 335.4k followers on Facebook and Twitter respectively with 274k subscribers on YouTube. Only Spice Diana with 984K followers and Jose Chameleone with 864K and closing in with 858,000 + followers).

As of 2021, Bobi Wine remains the most followed artist on Twitter (1.2M followers), Eddy Kenzo (most subscribed to YouTube Channel with 1.3M subscribers) and Juliana Kanyomozi continues to rule Facebook; commanding a steady 1.2Million Likes on the platform. Congratulations Queen! 😊
