In March, 2020, when the President pulled the plug on events and ‘happening’, many artists, unfortunately, could no longer give their fans the physical/ in-person concert experience.

This was a result of the pandemic that was ravaging, worldwide. Many resorted to doing Facebook Live Performances, YouTube live streams and online concerts were a thing.

Two years, now that the outside was officially opened back then in February, more and more events are taking off, and some artists are taking it a notch higher by staging individual concerts, one of them being “Baleke Abo” singer Pallaso who is currently on a countrywide tour, Kenneth Mugabi; the latest being Asha Naava Zziwa Grey also popularly known as Naava Grey.

“I have loads and loads of projects being lined up including a big concert. We are just waiting for this whole kind of thing (COVID-19) to and we can commence (with the concert plans).”, she gave fans her word in May 2020, and two years later, this promise will come to pass at a date that’s to be revealed later.

Having got a career kick-starter in Tusker Project Fame in 2008, Grey’s sultry vocals, storytelling, and lyrics have elevated and positioned her as one of the country’s most prominent vocalists in her space.

As you wait on that Naava Grey concert, and possibly an album, catch a recap of her episode of Tusker Malt’s TML Conver Sessions where she not only told her story but sang some of your favs too like: ‘Ninga Omuloge‘, ‘Soka Lami‘, ‘Alib’Omu‘, ‘Nja Kwagala‘, and ‘Nteredde.’
