You asked, and yes, they are returning with even more fire!

With a goal of revolutionizing how Ugandans usher in the year, Kash Events and its partners have today publicly declared their intentions of doing just that. The normal as we cross over into a new year has always been fireworks and ululations as we bid the past year farewell to the former and welcome the new one.

In a presser that was earlier held today at The Villa in Bukoto that was attended by the media fraternity, partners and representatives of Kash Events, the company announced an ‘End of Year concert; the first of its kind as it will feature two of the finest entertainers to grace Uganda this year; Ruger and South Africa’s Costa Titch.

“These two artists resonate with what we have been doing. I mean, we are just out of a lockdown, and as Roke Telkom, we encourage people to LIVE.”, said the Roke Telkom Brand & Marketing Manager Amanya Atuhaire.while speaking at the engagement.

He further encouraged revelers to while using their Roke Telkom to use it to connect to the internet and make sure that they during this time learn the dance routine to Ruger’s smash hit song ‘Girl Friend’, so they can come out in large numbers and we turn up as we welcome the new year.

Vision Group’s Marketing Manager Broadcast and Digital Media Kenneth Oduka in his remarks presented some good news for some diehard fans who may wish to win some FREE tickets to the show.

“Since the economy is now fully opened, let’s all come out on the 31st and celebrate. Costa Titch was here last time, and you asked for more and so was Ruger. As Urban TV, XFM, and The Kampala Sun, we share the same values as Kash Events; of bringing fun to the people.”, he said.

He furthered that they will be running giveaways of tickets via Urban Television shows; Fun Plus and the Tumbiza Wishlist as well as online on The Kampala Sun website where they’ll be running a series of questions.

Speaking on behalf of the organizers, Christian Jordan Lumanya the Head of Live Events at Kash Events revealed that indeed this show is the first of many as they will be holding annual new year crossover events every 31st.

To mitigate the doubts of revelers when it comes to acts being advertised and they don’t show up, Jordan guaranteed that Costa Titch will fly into Uganda on the 29th of December; that’s two days ahead of this end-of-year plot that he’ll be headlining.

On how much and where tickets can be purchased; he mentioned that the first batch of Ugx. 50,000 advance tickets got done and the current early bird offer on tickets is Ugx. 80,000/= and that they will be going for Ugx. 100,000 on the D-day of the event. These are currently available on Quicket, Jumia, and Shell Stations.

Later while in a Question and Session with the media, Ukasha Segang; the CEO and Founder of Kash Events shared that as a company, they envision bringing Ugandans a new way of partying and with a new sound and lighting.

He says they are doing this by choosing small venues to accommodate limited numbers of revelers as a way of making sure they have up close and personal experiences with the artists during the performances/ shows.

Being inclusive is another virtue that the company holds dearly and for that matter, it won’t just be Ruger and Costa Titch performing but some of our very own as well; some names mentioned included Lagum the Rapper, Vinka, Kataleya & Kandle, Bella as well DJ Vee and The Ugandan Babe.

“As Jumia, we are already open and in the mood for the new year. We shall be having a Christmas Sale where if you order your ticket to the show, you’ll get it delivered alongside a FREE Whistle.” Said Faisal Ssesanga, the Digital Marketing Manager at Jumia.

He said this is to enable the partygoers that day to have a wholesome experience with Costa Titch, given that his music style of amapiano best goes with a great whistle.

This will be both acts second coming to Uganda; as we might recall, Ruger (born Michael Adebayo) was among the very first foreign performers once events were officially opened as he headlined The Big Brunch back then in February and South African rapper Costa Titch put on a madness at the Club Dome on July 16th at the Lugogo Cricket Oval; leaving some revelers asking for more with his memorable performance.

December 31st, all roads will be leading to the Garden City Rooftop for the Ruger & Costa Titch End of year Party. Get your tickets now.
