Here’s Why Magixx Is Coming To Kampala This Weekend.

The Mavin signee is bringing a vibes overdose to La Paronis this Sunday!

Young Afro-fusion divine vocally talented singer-songwriter Magixx (Born Alexander Adewunmi Adelabu) that got signed to Mavin Records in the September of 2021 is set to perform in Africa’s party capital; – Kampala, Uganda.

Best known for his hit track ‘Love Don’t Cost A Dime’ (Re-Up) with label mate Ayra Starr, Magixx has been tapped to perform at La Paronis’ highly attended theme night; – Chop Life Sundays.

Hosted by Sheila Gashumba, the event has previously been headlined by South Africa’s DBN Gogo. La Paronis is also home to ‘Best of Kampala” which has hosted names Major League DJz, DJ Maphorisa, Nameless, and Wahu plus DJ Neptune among others. This Sunday, it is Magixx at the center stage.

Magixx’s sound fuses Afro-pop, trap and dancehall and this has seen him perform on stages such as Glitch Africa. He graced this particular one a month after being launched onto the music scene in October where he delivered a live performance of ‘Motivate Yourself’, a track off his debut self-titled and heartfelt EP. Other tracks on the project were “Motivate Yourself”, ‘Gratitude”, “Like A Movie”, and “Pati”.

It will be a FREE Entrance affair at Chop Life Sunday, tomorrow, and while at it revelers will be treated to a music rave by deejay mixes from in-house disk jockeys Slick Stuart, DJ Lito, DJ Jose 256 & DJ Alisha.
